2019年8月30日（金）、横浜にて開催されていた第７回アフリカ開発会議（TICAD7）は3日間の日程を終え、幕を閉じました。
今年のテーマはて「アフリカに躍進を！ひと，技術，イノベーションで」でした。
「横浜宣言」では、アフリカ連合（AU）「2063アジェンダ」にも明記されているように、TICADの取り組みはアフリカの将来の発展にとって不可欠な存在であることを強調しました。
会議の傍らでアザリー閣下はたくさんのアフリカ諸国の大統領との面会にも出席しました。
その中でアンゴラのルーセンソー大統領とは二国間の委員会設立を通してより一層両国の親交を深めていくことに合意しました。
アザリー大統領もまた世界銀行アフリカエリアVPのガネム氏、JICA会長の北岡氏と共に非常に有意義な会談をおこないました。
安倍総理はアザリー大統領との会談の中で、日本政府はコモロ連合国の「ビジョン2030」プランを包括的にサポートする姿勢を改めて主張しました。

His Excellency the President of the Union of Comoros, Mr. Assoumani Azali, attended the TICAD7 that took place in Yokohama from August 28 to 30.

The talks of the seventh edition of the TICAD (Tokyo International Conference on African Development) ended on August 30th in Yokohama, Japan. This year’s theme consisted in “Advancing Africa's Development through People, Technology and Innovation”.
The Yokohama final declaration emphasizes the necessity of the TICAD to integrate the African vision in terms of development, as it is clearly expressed in the African Union’s 2063 Agenda.
On the fringes of the conference, His Excellency Mr. Azali had discussions with many of his African peers, noticeably with H.E. João Lourenço, President of Angola, with whom both parts have agreed to strengthen bilateral relationships, through the implementation of a mixt Comoros-Angola commission.
Mr. Azali also had very useful talks with Mr. Hafez Ghanem, Vice-President of the World Bank for the African area, and Mr. Shinichi Kitaoka, the Japanase International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Director.
Finally, the President personally met His Excellency the Prime Minister of Japan, Mr. Shinzô Abe. During this meeting, Tokyo expressed its full support to be a partner of the Union of Comoros in the country vision to emerge towards 2030.
