Azali大統領閣下はじめ代表団一同は10月21日（月）午後1時30分頃に成田空港に到着され、名誉領事の松岡孝明氏と、元カメルーン駐箚特命全権大使であり現外務省参与の岡村邦夫氏によって歓迎されました。一同は警察車両の警護のもと、滞在先となる都心のホテルに向かいました。
大統領閣下と夫人は、22日（火）午後1時30分から皇居で執り行われた即位礼正殿の儀と饗宴の儀に参列されました。大統領夫妻は天皇皇后両陛下に向けて祝辞を述べられました。
大統領閣下はその後24日にソチで開催されるロシアアフリカサミットの開会式に参列されるため、23日未明に日本を出発しました。
Azali大統領閣下の訪日は8月に横浜で開催されたTICAD7に続き2回目となりました。
President Azali landed on Monday 21st October around 1:30 p.m. at the Narita International Airport. The whole delegation has been welcomed by the Honorary Consul, Takaaki Matsuoka, in company of the former Japan Ambassador to Cameroon and current special assistant to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kunio Okamura. The delegation members were directly escorted to their hotel in downtown Tokyo by a police car cortege. His Excellency and the First Lady had the privilege to take part to the Enthronement Ceremony of the new Japanese Emperor that took place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Imperial Palace on Tuesday 22nd October, and to the evening Banquet. They have been personally hosted by the Emperor together with the Empress, and the presidential couple addressed them its best wishes.His Excellency then left Japan late in the night of 22 to 23rd October in order to attend on time the opening ceremony of the Russia-Africa Summit that started on 24th October in Sotchi, Russia.This visit in Japan was the second one for President Azali, after his presence to the TICAD 7 that was held last August in Yokohama.
Lundi 21 octobre 2019, l’avion transportant le Président Azali a atterri à l’aéroport international de Narita vers 13 heures 30. La délégation a été accueillie par le Consul Honoraire, Takaaki Matsuoka, ainsi que de l’ancien Ambassadeur du Japon au Cameroun et assistant spécial du Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, M. Kunio Okamura. La délégation a ensuite été escortée par un cortège policier jusqu’à son hôtel en centre-ville de Tokyo.Son Excellence et la Première Dame ont pu assister à la cérémonie de couronnement du nouvel Empereur du Japon qui a eu lieu au Palais Impérial de 13 heures à 13 heures 30 le mardi 22 octobre, puis au banquet organisé en soirée. Le couple présidentiel a adressé ses meilleurs vœux au nouvel Empereur ainsi qu’à la nouvelle Impératrice.Ils sont ensuite repartis tard dans la nuit du 22 au 23 octobre afin de pouvoir assister à la cérémonie d’ouverture du sommet Russe-Afrique organisé à Sotchi débutant le 24 octobre. Ce séjour fut le second de son Excellence au Japon, après sa venue pour la TICAD 7 qui s’est tenue en août dernier à Yokohama.
