小諸からコモロへ
2021年7月28日（水）に長野県小諸市議会の代表者は在日コモロ連合名誉領事館を訪問いたしました。
小諸市議会議員はオリンピックの開会式でコモロ諸島の存在を知りました。小諸とコモロは同じ発音されることから小諸市はコモロ代表団のメンバー10名全員に、「小諸」の文字をプリントしたポロシャツを提供したいと考えました。
ポロシャツはオ選手村に届けられ、コモロの選手たちはこの友愛のジェスチャーにとても感動しました。

コモロのオリンピック代表団と在東京コモロ名誉領事館を代表して、独創的な取り組みを考えた楚山伸二氏をはじめ、小諸市議会に心より大変感謝を申し上げます。楚山氏は今後も小諸市とコモロ連合との連携を強化する意向を示いたしました。
De Komoro aux Comores
Le mercredi 28 juillet, le Consulat Honoraire de l'Union des Comores au Japon a reçu la visite de la représentante de la ville de Komoro, préfecture de Nagano (centre du Japon).
Les membres du conseil municipal ont découvert l'existence des Comores lors de la Cérémonie d'ouverture des Jeux Olympiques et, comme "Comores" se prononce "Komoro" コモロ en japonais , la ville homonyme a souhaité offrir à l'ensemble des 10 membres de la délégation comorienne des polos imprimés des caractères "小諸" de la municipalité.
Les polos ont été livrés au village olympique et les athlètes comoriens ont été très touchés par ce geste de fraternité.

Au nom de la délégation olympique comorienne et du Consulat Honoraire des Comores à Tokyo, nous tenons à remercier la ville de Komoro et plus particulièrement M. Shinji Soyama qui est à l'origine de cette initiative originale. Ce dernier a exprimé sa volonté de vouloir renforcer à l'avenir les liens entre sa collectivité territoriale et l'Union des Comores.
From Komoro to COMOROS
On Wednesday July 28, the Honorary Consulate of the Union of the Comoros in Japan received a visit from the representative of the city of Komoro, Nagano prefecture (central Japan).
The members of the city council discovered the existence of the Comoros during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games and, as "Comoros" is pronounced "Komoro" コモロ in Japanese, the namesake city wished to offer all 10 members of the Comorian delegation polo shirts printed with the municipality's "小諸" characters.
The polo shirts were delivered to the Olympic Village and the Comorian athletes were very touched by this gesture of fraternity.
