2019年3月13日（水）、閣下Aboud大使はNGO法人「道普請人」理事長の木村博士と会談しました。木村博士のチームでは現地で調達可能な「土嚢」と「人力」のみで道路の建設・改修を行う技術を開発し、その技術は世界のあらゆる地域で人々に広まり、役立っています。
道普請人はこれまでに世界27か国でめざましい功績を残し、様々な公的機関や大手日本企業からの後援も受けております。
今回の会談で閣下Aboud大使と木村博士は将来に向けてお互いに協力していく方針を固めました。
Meeting with the Director of the “CORE” NGO
On Wednesday 13th March, 2019, His Excellency had the honor to receive Doctor Makoto Kimura, Director of the CORE Community Road Empowerment non-governmental organization. This NGO already showed effective results throughout 27 countries in the world and has obtained the support of several public organizations and renowned Japanese private companies.
Doctor Kimura and his team has come up with a road construction / repairment technic named “Do-no” that uses materials locally available (sand or gravels and agricultural bags) and only requires a manual workforce (no need for heavy machinery) that local people can quickly assimilate and can infinitely repeat afterwards.
His Excellency and Doctor Kimura expressed mutual interest for a future collaboration and have orally agreed to start as soon as possible to work hand in hand.

Rencontre avec le directeur de l’ONG « CORE »
Mercredi 13 mars 2019, Son Excellence l’Ambassadeur a eu le plaisir de recevoir le Docteur Makoto Kimura, directeur de l’organisation non-gouvernementale CORE, Community Road Empowerment. Cette ONG a déjà fait ses preuves dans 27 pays du globe et a reçu le soutien de plusieurs organismes publics et grandes entreprises privées japonaises.
Le docteur Kimura et son équipe ont élaboré une technique de construction / réparation de routes nommée « Do-no » qui utilise des matériaux disponibles sur place (du sable ou du gravier et des sacs agricoles) et fait appel à un travail manuel (ne nécessitant pas de machinerie lourde) que les locaux assimilent très rapidement et peuvent répéter indéfiniment par la suite.
Son Excellence et le Docteur Kimura ont montré leur intérêt mutuel pour collaborer et se sont accordé verbalement pour débuter le plus tôt possible à travailler main dans la main.
